CLEVELAND, Ohio – A search warrant was executed at the offices of Stafford & Stafford on Erieview Plaza earlier this week, the law office where murder victim Aliza Sherman’s attorney worked.

BCI officials confirmed to Fox 8’s I-Team they took part in the search.  Officials will not say exactly why the law office was searched, but sources say it has to do with a bomb threat case.

Sherman’s attorney Gregory Moore had worked at the office and was indicted for making bomb threats to Cleveland area courthouses last year.

Moore’s attorney tells us he knew about the search but does not know what investigators were looking for or what may have been found.

“Greg has maintained at all times he had nothing to do with the murder of Ms. Sherman,” said attorney Ian Friendman, who represents Moore on that unrelated alleged bomb threat case.

Sherman, 53, was murdered on March 24, 2013, while walking to her attorney’s office. The case remains unsolved.
