CLEVELAND — Moments after Pedro and Onil Castro appeared in court they were whisked out of the Justice Center in an unmarked car and taken to an undisclosed location.
Onil’s son, who did not want to be identified, told Fox 8′s I-Team that he was contacted by detectives Wednesday night and told to meet in a secret place for security reasons. He said detectives told him his father and uncle did not play any role in the kidnapping of Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight.
Onil’s son says his main concern now is his father and uncle’s health. He says both have disabilities, but would not give specifics.

Family members returned to the home Thursday morning and left with what appeared to be a bag of clothes.
Onil’s son told Fox 8 exclusively that he believes his Uncle Ariel was just giving his father and uncle a ride when the they were arrested Monday evening at a McDonald’s.
Onil’s son said Ariel never let anyone into his Seymour Avenue home. He said family members thought it was strange but never imagined he had three women held hostage in the house.
He said the arrests of his father and Uncle Pedro is very upsetting to the entire family. He says they are thankful the three women have been rescued.
